Cleardocs helpline hours for end of financial year

Please be assured that the Cleardocs helpline will continue to operate as usual during the end of the financial year period, from 9am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday. We are always ready to help you and welcome your feedback.

The free legal hepline at Maddocks will maintain its operating hours. If you have a legal question relating to a Cleardocs document package, please call us and we will put you in touch with a lawyer at Maddocks.

ASIC fee increase effective 1 July 2015

From 1 July 2015, ASIC fees will increase. The fee increases apply to lodgements including the following company services:

• registration of a proprietary limited company, from $457 to $463;
• registration of a public company limited by guarantee, from $377 to $382;
• company name reservation, from $45 to $46; and
• business name registration for 3 years, from $78 to $79.

While the ASIC fee increases mean the total price of some Cleardocs document packages will change, Cleardocs fees and charges remain the same.

Please note that ASIC fees are not subject to GST.

Enhancing your Cleardocs experience

Glossary of terms Glossaries of useful SMSF and trust terms are now available on our website. A link to these can be found in the resources box on SMSF and trust product information pages (located under the price box). So, if you are uncertain about any of the terminology relating to our products, you can now easily reference them.

Pre-population of lender details for SMSF borrowing (bank) In response to customer feedback, we have updated our question interface for SMSF borrowing (bank). Now, if you select a particular bank as lender, the interface will pre-populate the lenders' name and ACN for you.

You will still be able to edit this pre-populated information if required, for example, you could change the ABN/ACN if the loan is from a subsidiary of the major bank, rather than the major bank itself.
