Carbon Community Foundation — operations ceased

For the last five years, Cleardocs customers who ordered printing and binding had the option to donate to the Carbon Community Foundation.

Carbon Community Foundation advised us on 7 February 2014, that due to operations ceasing, they are no longer accepting donations.

During the partnership period with the Foundation, Cleardocs (with your help) has played a significant part in enabling the provision of solar paneled light to communities in several African countries, Thai-Burma border refugee camps and PNG. This alternate source of lighting has replaced costly and dangerous CO2 emitting lights — ensuring safer and healthier environments.

Cleardocs are proud to have been associated with the Carbon Community Foundation and pleased to have had so many customers show their support and contribute during our long association.

Cleardocs plans to put in place an arrangement with another carbon friendly association in the coming months. Once implemented, we will announce the association, mission and cause, once again allowing customers the option to donate.

Estate Planning breakfast sessions

In November and December 2013, Cleardocs hosted interesting and insightful breakfast sessions in Sydney and Melbourne on 'clear and tax effective wills'.

The keynote speaker was Robert Monahan, Consultant (Estate Planning) from Maddocks lawyers. Robert presented on tax effective estate planning strategies and tools, and provided an overview of the Cleardocs wills products and testamentary trust structure.
